Victorian Christmas Magic

I have to rant about this for alot of reasons.

My boyfriend laurence found this amazing event at Wilmore Hall in london where they were having a victorian christmas show called.. Vintage Christmas.

We didnt know what to expect but after treking through the snow we made it to the old victorian theatre.. and it was so beautiful. Wooden chairs.. simple set up and amazing actors all performed small pieces of dickens/ shakespere etc to form a beautiful variety of christmas history. I sat back...

and i looked around.. the victorian magic onstage, the warm atmosphere and at the beautiful man sat beside me. I felt very humble, and moved. I could have welled up.

To have had such a magic year.. and to have met such an amazing guy. I just have no words for how i feel for that man. For someone with a mind that is sharp, and with brown eyes that make me forget the entire world.

To him i say thank you.. for the past 9 months together.. for that magic xmas before i left for ireland to see my family and for being a dream come true.

And for having the patience to see me through a busy year and even when im tired and sensitive.

im very lucky.

So much in my life has worked out.. and i want to enjoy every part of it. One day i wont have such harmony and ill want to remember this. So for now.

I know i ask perfection of a quite imperfect world.
And fool enough to think that's what ill find

Its a hard day.

Seems everyone wants something for free. I love art, i love my work and i love making it all. But as magical as my luck can be... i am not a mystic with the ability to create money from air and hope from nothing.

Its all good... just a hard 3 weeks of alot of work and this is my stretching/exhausted point where a younger me would stick my heels into the ground and want to stop and stamp my feet or not see it through.

But i wont do that... ill type it down and think about it for an hour one morning. But then ill go make some coffee and realise i have to get back on it because it wont get done unless it comes from me. We have achieved so much, more than my imagination could have possibly thought up in less than a year. And im just worn. I need a break.

Everytime i feel like that i listen to the carpenters.
